SAINT SEIYA ENG DUB SERIES
Jump Force has characters from a lot of other series I enjoy such as Dragon Ball, Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Rurouni Kenshin, and Death Note. So should I consider watching the Spanish dub with English subtitles?Ĥ) Does the series get better at some point? Going off of the first 15 episodes I’m starting to think maybe it’s just not for me.īackground so you know where I’m coming from: I was interested in the series because I saw it had two characters in Jump Force. That being said I have 4 questions.ġ) Is the dialogue/voice acting any better in the Japanese version?Ģ) Did they change important elements of the story/characters/dialogue in the ADV dub or is it pretty true to the original?ģ) I’ve heard the franchise is sacred to many in Latin America, much like Dragon Ball is to many here in the US (including myself). I’ve watched the first 15 episodes over the course of a week (a slow pace for me) and tbh I haven’t been enjoying it that much. So I’ve been watching the ADV English dub of the 1986 series Saint Seiya Knights of the Zodiac (not the DIC dub where the blood is blue). Unfortunately for our English-only redditters, there are certain chapters in the series that cannot be found online to read. We also recommend using websites like 9anime as not all anime streaming services have the entirety of the Classic series. The majority of Saint Seiya anime may be found on Crunchyroll. As such, do expect most of the links to direct you to a Spanish site.ĭiscord Threads for all Saint Seiya series Please note: The SS series has had a far better reception in Japan and Latin America than in the US. The story is said to lead into an Olympus Arc and following a Titanomachy arc against the Titan Kronos. Saint Seiya: Next Dimension is the canonical sequel to the original manga and is currently ongoing. Even after an animation of the entire manga, five movies, and three non-canon side mangas the series is still loved and continues to this day.
